With my female white blackbird nesting close by she is often in my garden looking for food. I’m pleased to see she is reasonably carefull cos the crows killed her mate just before Christmas.
She spent longer than usual feeding this afternoon and let me take a few photos —
She seems to have come through the winter well and she is picking up bits of fatballs that the bunch of delinquent starlings with their messy eating habits have scattered from the feeder above —
Oops! Did I mention starlings? She didn’t look too impressed 🙂
