It’s been a funny old Easter weekend. We’ve had lots of sunshine but there’s been a cold bite in the wind – until today that is. Blustery but mild – time to get the blue Ten out.
I didn’t make the best of starts – probably something to do with being under the weather recently but as the day wore on and I got deeper into the Galloway Hills things improved and I found I was actually enjoying my ride.
Bet the pilot way up there in the blue was enjoying his day out as well.
I didn’t take many pics and I was on my way home before I got into the swing of things.
It’s been a while since I ventured up that way – not much traffic – beautiful scenery – birds of many varieties from tiny wrens and tits to red kites plus the occasional fat goose and shy prehistoric heron. They were all there and many more between 🙂
