I saw Ailsa Craig in all it’s glory today.
But first I had to cross the Galloway Hills by single track. Last time I came over here I spotted a big dog fox sauntering across my trail without a care in the world. He even took time to give me a ‘who are you looking at” glance over his shoulder as he went quietly on his way.
There was no sign of Foxy Loxy today and I trundled on over the hills to catch the coast at a wee cluster of houses called Lendalfoot —
where I found a grassy spot above the beach to have my tea and sandwich complete with views to the Isle of Arran in the distance —
and Ailsa Craig not so far away —
About 150 miles on the Ten all told – a nice carefree way to spend a sunny afternoon 🙂
