Having found some of my ride on the Ten to be ‘hard work’ yesterday – there was nothing else for it but to get back out there again and put some effort in —
Today I was on more familiar ground in the Galloway Hills and was relieved to find things going better between us —
It was possibly something to do with my long winter lay off coupled with the particularly blustery late March gales that made life tougher than usual on the Tall Ten yesterday.
There was no such problem today. It was just a case of showing the rangy Ten who was boss and she came to heel —
The icing on the cake was to arrive back indoors just as the heaviest hail storm of the year rattled the windows 🙂
