In the grand scheme of things this isn’t a lot of smoke —
but if your holiday home is in the path of a brush fire it’s a case of ‘there’s no smoke without fire’ —
No worries – that’s what insurance is for – isn’t it?
No smoke down the Monrieth end of the bay where the cool Ten and it’s perspiring rider parked up on the headland to let the sea breeze do it’s bit before he expired with nothing more than a greasy spot to mark his passing —
The spick and span small park in the centre of Wigtown where I stopped for a coffee was cool too – although completely empty —
About as empty as these abandoned boots —
and poles – might as well borrow them and go climb the Merrick —
bet its busier up there 🙂
