At the End of the Road

13 May

We’ve all been there – at the end of the road.

This time it was south of the Crinan Canal in Knapdale on that old jetty at Keill with views to the Paps of Jura.

It wasn’t all plain sailing as the miniscule turning area at the end of the road was blocked by two – or was it three parked cars who were adopting the ‘we were here first’ attitude.

No worries – we left the old goats to their own devices and found a shady hawthorn tree back the road a bit. It had been stunted into something useful by the prevailing coastal winds.

What more can a man ask for on a hot day like this?

Crayfish for lunch perhaps —

Made a pretty picture any old how – although it did take a few of them to fill the tum 🙂
