Bottled Water – It Will Never Catch On —

06 Oct

We took the back road to Blackford from Auchterarder earlier today ..

It’s called the Bardrill Road .. little used now as the farm by that name doesn’t appear to exist any more —

I had just left school when I lived around here and couldn’t get on my bike and offskie quick enough —

Yet here I am proudly showing Helen around the life I once lived —

The naked eye spots Ben Vorlich on the horizon – a Munro on the south side of Loch Earn not far from where we live now – possibly twenty miles from here as the crow flies – perhaps less —

The main road bypasses Blackford now and the other major change is the big Highland Spring water bottling plant – I remember thinking when the idea was first mooted to build the plant – ‘bottled water? It will never catch on’ —

Little did I know —
