A Night-cap from Glen Turret Ditillery —

I wish it was what the title says – but here’s a few pics from Helen’s walk by the distillery today —

The halti arrangement with one of the leads is a boon as without it he can be guilty of pulling a bit – particularly if he catches sight of a deer or a hare —

Loki weighs 34kgs and has four feet drive so there’s no stopping him when he really get’s going —

The beech tree? Well it’s a monster and you can imagine the carnage if that went over the bank onto the distillery below —

Looking past the tree takes us to Glen Turret dam eventually but I don’t think these two will be going that far today —

In the Ochil Hills with the X-ADV750

I don’t mind using this particular pic again so soon cos it’s a good ‘un — parked in a farmer’s gateway while looking back over Dunning and Strathearn to the hills by my home —

It’s all so beautiful and made a welcome stop yesterday after feeling my way round a few blind corners on the winding upslope from Dunning while being blinded by the sun —

Then it was over the top and down the south side of the hill to park by the cairn for local skier Tom Black who had enjoyed the hills too in his day —

After ‘hopping’ over the style for a brief walk in the woods —

it was onwards to the Yett’s of Muckhart before a right turn to the north up Glendevon for Gleneagles – Muthil and home —

Bunkered at Gleneagles —

Found a nice backdrop for the X-ADV —

while taking photos at Gleneagles King’s Course yesterday —

And just along the road a few yards was where I watched motorcycle scrambling in my mid-teens —

I decided it was too dangerous for me — the chances of being hurt and off work were too high. Little did I know what was to come in my future —
