The Yeti Wagon —

As you have probably guessed I’m pretty fond of my six years old Yeti —

Even our Loki decided it was his a long time ago —

But he does have competition for it as Helen suggested I make a bed for the rear for an occasional stopover when B&B isn’t available at short notice in outlying areas —

No sooner said than done ma’am —

And never one to do things by halves there is even a storage box for stoves and all the other stuff under the bed where the never used removable rear seats were before I unclipped them —

A hinged headboard drops down almost horizontal when the front seats are pushed forward – a second section of 9mm ply is hinged from the rear of the storage box —

and the after-market full size spare wheel supports the final piece of ply level with the boot lip at the rear —

A hind makes a nice level floor for loading and carting my regular ten bags of logs to keep the home fires burning —

Doing Jankers in the Shed —

Spent a few of hours in the shed t’other day – and that was just to tidy the bench —

That’s the Ecosse demonstrator on lockdown in there till I’m clear of this covid. My own X-ADV is ready for collection in Dundee – complete with new plastics fitted under warranty where they are needed. So with the Annual Service all done and dusted – the new Michelin Roads 4’s scrubbed in and the two or perhaps even three recalls sorted I can look forward to another biking season starting soon.

If I get bored in the meantime there’s always the storage racks and the back shop to sort out – where does it all come from —
