As you have probably guessed I’m pretty fond of my six years old Yeti —

Even our Loki decided it was his a long time ago —

But he does have competition for it as Helen suggested I make a bed for the rear for an occasional stopover when B&B isn’t available at short notice in outlying areas —

No sooner said than done ma’am —

And never one to do things by halves there is even a storage box for stoves and all the other stuff under the bed where the never used removable rear seats were before I unclipped them —

A hinged headboard drops down almost horizontal when the front seats are pushed forward – a second section of 9mm ply is hinged from the rear of the storage box —

and the after-market full size spare wheel supports the final piece of ply level with the boot lip at the rear —

A hind makes a nice level floor for loading and carting my regular ten bags of logs to keep the home fires burning —
