Loki – our flat coat retriever – wasn’t the only one of our furry friends to join us on The Isle of Luing —

While we found Loki as a three months old pup 220 miles away in the north-east of Scotland near Fraserborough – his pal Seamus had arrived on the Isle of Luing aged eight weeks after a 190 miles car journey in a cardboard box with a bed of sweet smelling hay. He came from the opposite direction – a farm near Lockerbie in south-west Scotland —

There’s no doubt that they would both prefer the wildness and freedom of Luing but we are pleased to say they are both happy and well here in Comrie – they even share the same bed in Loki’s kennel without fuss —
