There’s something to be said for travelling at Classic speed —
I’ve been round this loch many many times since my first visit in 1959 on my 350 Velo and I have never spotted what looks like a gravestone halfway along the south shore before —
The stone is overgrown with moss but it does mention James Stewart and family – also Dunblane and a date possibly from around 200 years ago —
I think a little careful moss clearing might be in order on my next visit – meanwhile have a butcher’s over my shiny Enfield to the snow capped Ben Vorlich lost in cloud in the distance 🤠👍
